More than 300 adults serve as volunteers in Santa Barbara County

Share a skill with youth, whether it's aerospace, computers, cooking, or zoology!

Help youth develop their potential as future leaders. Help promote the National 4-H Science, Engineering and Technology initiative.

Training, curricula, and information are available through University of California Cooperative Extension. Workshops and On-line training are available. Call the 4-H Office in Santa Barbara at 692-1730, or in Santa Maria at 934-6240.

Directions:

 FROM THE SOUTH: 101 to El Sueno exit; El Sueno, turn left to Calle Real; Calle Real to Camino del Remedio, turn right, look for the sign on your left that says UC Cooperative Extension and PHD Loading... FROM THE NORTH: 101 to the Turnpike exit, turn left onto turnpike and over the freeway to Camino Real; Turn right onto Camino Real and take your third left onto Camino del Remedio look for the sign on your left that says UC Cooperative Extension and PHD Loading... Turn left onto the drive that leads into the into the parking lot. Our building is up the drive a ways and on your left. You cannot see the front of it until you have passed it as it faces west and the building is partially obscured by the landscaping. The office entrance has a sign that says University of California Cooperative Extension in large letters. There are three parking spaces in front and across the drive is the Public Health Department building and the loading dock. You may also park in the lot below the building.
  Nearest Bus Stop: Public Health Department, 5 minute walk
