Giving Children Hope is a faith-based nonprofit organization dedicated to alleviating poverty (domestically and abroad) through disaster relief, health and community development, vocational training and advocacy.

Giving Children Hope is privileged to work with diverse individuals and communities both locally and around the world, supplying projects that address and focus on the needs of children.

Giving Children Hope works to promote family sustainability, economic independence, and self-sufficiency so that children may grow in stable environments. Giving Children Hope also plays a role in the redevelopment and rehabilitation of under resourced schools, hospitals, and orphanages. Our programs mobilize organizations so that they can provide a bridge between the sources of aid and those with the greatest need, this empowers individuals to reach children caught in hopelessness.

History:
Formally Global Operations and Development, Giving Children Hope was founded by John Ditty in 1993. With his garage as a storehouse, he shipped relief aid and supplies from his home. In the last fifteen years, our organization has grown to occupy a 43,000 sq. foot facility. From here we have a main warehouse where containers full of medical equipment, supplies, and relief aid are shipped in containers all over the world.

The vision of Giving Children Hope is to serve children and those in the cycle of poverty through holistic relief and development nationally and globally. By empowering disenfranchised communities and providing them with the basic necessities of life to instill hope and dignity to their lives, we believe our families become healthier, communities are strengthened and the worth and purpose of humanity is restored. As we equip indigenous leaders with the tools for survival and success we envision the transformation of communities.
