Said programs and services will include, but not be limited to, programs and services addressing needs in mental health, housing, transportation, nutrition, education, physical health, counseling, welfare, and rehabilitation.
Description:
We offer programs like senior transportation, after-school programs, computer classes, tax days, education classes, nutritional classes, summer programs, apartment housing, a full-time dental clinic, food programs, senior activities, English language classes, and more!
History:
Over 35 years ago a small group of people had a unique vision. Throughout the surrounding community they saw hunger and senior citizens who were struggling to get around town. They realized there was a huge unmet need. Starting with a transportation program Abrazar has grown and now reaches the community in a unique and powerful way. Abrazar impacts hundreds of families a week. Sometimes it's as small as a bag of food for the week and other times it's through a class focusing on learning the English language. We are continually growing in order to meet the needs of the surrounding community.
