Description:
The National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Pacific South Coast Chapter serves over 18,000 people throughout Orange, San Diego and Imperial Counties affected by multiple sclerosis.

Our Chapter is one of more than 60 Chapters nationwide with a shared mission to end the devastating effects of multiple sclerosis. We do this by raising vital funds that support quality programs and services, research, and advocacy for our community friends affected by MS.

Founded in 1946, The National Multiple Sclerosis Society supports more MS research, offers more services for people with MS, provides more professional education programs, and furthers more MS advocacy efforts than any other MS organization in the world.

The Pacific South Coast Chapter has a full-time professional staff and volunteer network committed to helping our clients maintain independence and knowledge of MS. Our programs and services promote and support knowledge about multiple sclerosis, effective disease management techniques, independence and community involvement, and health care options for all people whose lives are affected by MS.

There has never been a better time to invest in MS research and programs to help people with MS stay in control of their lives. This is the most hopeful time in history for MS research. Four new drugs are reducing the number of attacks experienced by people with MS, and there is incredibly promising research in progress.

The Chapter relies on the community to support its ongoing activities. Major fundraisers include three one day Walk MS in April, Challenge Walk MS, in September, Bike MS Bay to Bay Tour, in October and MS Annual Dinner Auction in November, and other special events.

Join the movement today and help the National MS Society create a world free of MS! For more information, visit www.mspacific.org.
