Description:
Founded in 1967 as one of the first Head Start preschool programs in Orange County, OCPT has established a long tradition of learning. The children we serve are the most at-risk of school failure due to poverty, special educational needs, homelessness and foster care status. We have made a lasting impact on tens of thousands of children and their families through our school readiness programs, health & nutrition programs, and family support services.

History:
Our early childhood education programs are fully accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. The organization has been a United Way agency for nearly 30 years. And today, we operate state preschool programs at six centers and we are the lead agency for the Family Resource Center.
