AIDS Services Foundation Orange County's mission is to prevent the spread of HIV and improve the lives of men, women, and children affected by HIV/AIDS in Orange County.

Description:
AIDS Services Foundation services include nurse case management, benefits counseling, home health care, mental health counseling, health education, advocacy, emergency financial assistance, transportation, family and children's programs,housing coordination and food pantry services. As the epidemic has changed, ASF has developed new services for minorities, women, families, clients with chemical dependency and mental health problems as well as programs in Spanish and English to develop self-care, self-sufficiency and back to work skills.

History:
A small group of volunteers founded AIDS Services Foundation, Orange County (ASF) in late summer 1985, because people were dying, desperately needed help, and had nowhere to turn. ASF is now the largest and most comprehensive not-for-profit AIDS-service organization in Orange County, with a staff of over 60 committed and caring individuals, a 22-member board of directors and hundreds of dedicated volunteers.

Directions:

From the 405 Freeway: Exit at MacArther Blvd. Turn right north) at the light. Turn left on Main Street. Turn right on Sky Park South. Turn left onto Sky Park Circle, building is 4th driveway on the right. From the 55: Exit at MacArthur Blvd and go east. Turn right on Redhill Ave, then left on Sky Park North. At the end of the street, turn right. You will see the long-term airport parking lot on your right. ASF is located just across the street from the lot.
