Join the WECARE AmeriCorps program. WECARE (Working to Enhance Care and Resources for our Elders) is a program of California State University, Fullerton.
Description:
As a Member of the program you will belong to a intergenerational corps of 75 community volunteers who participate in activities including teaching classes, delivering meals, making home visits to homebound seniors, disseminating information on healthy aging and/or community resources, recruiting volunteers and other services. In addition to doing service in your community, you will receive opportunities for extensive training, personal development, meeting key community leaders and become knowledgeable about healthy aging. Compensation depends on the number of hours you are able to commit to.

WECARE has been active in Orange County for the past two years and has had tremendous impact on the lives on seniors.
