Rebuilding Together Orange County

Rebuilding Together Orange County builds partnerships within the community to rebuild owner-occupied homes, shelters and non-profit facilities for low-income residents, particularly the elderly or those with disabilities, so they may live independently with dignity, in warmth and safety. All services are provided free of charge to recipients.

Description:
Rebuilding Together, through the help of our dedicated volunteers, completes home repairs, improvements, renovations and ADA modifications. Examples of repairs include but are not limited to: plumbing repair, electrical repair, interior and exterior painting, ramp installation, grab bar installation, energy efficiency improvements and more.

History:
Rebuilding Together has served the local Orange County community for more than 18 years, completed work on more than 1,200 homes with the helping hands of more than 21,000 volunteers. All this provides a fair market estimated value of more than $8 million.

Rebuilding Together is a national organization with more than 200 affiliates across the country in big cities and small towns alike. Previously under the name "Christmas in April", Rebuilding Together utilizes the neighbor helping neighbor philanthropic attitude.
