Volunteer Opportunity Details:

The Early Literacy Program's mission is to promote reading to children every day to build language and learning skills for life.You can help us achieve that mission by becoming a Volunteer Reader.
Volunteer Readers read to children inside pediatric waiting rooms, and make reading a fun and engaging experience. After reading to children the readers also advocate the importance of literacy to parents.

Since volunteers are working with children they must go through a screening process and be trained.
The screening process is getting a TB/Physical done, a background check and live scan fingerprinting.
