Volunteer Opportunity Details:
In 2004, the Orange County Asian and Pacific Islander Community Alliance (OCAPICA) launched a FREE Soar Afterschool Program, for underserved middle and high school-aged youth. This program provides a safe environment for students to receive academic mentoring and support, as well as character education, leadership development, and cultural enrichment. The Soar Afterschool Program hours are Tuesday-Thursday, 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM during the academic year. (Sept-June) All academic mentors must attend a mandatory Volunteer Orientation & Training, in addition complete and pass a Live Scan fingerprint/background check. ![]() This opportunity is sponsored by: Orange County Asian and Pacific Islander Community Alliance (OCAPICA)
