
Heroes Needed for Mentoring Program
Volunteer Opportunity Details:
America On Track is looking for adults (18 years or older) to help transform the lives of children through mentoring. We provide training and on-going support services throughout the mentoring experience. The mentor will be matched up with a child between the ages of 6 and 14 who has at least one parent incarcerated or on parole. The commitment is for one year and the mentor will meet once a week with the child for a 1 to 2-hour session. The sessions can be scheduled at the mentor’s convenience any day of the week, Monday through Sunday. Also, from time to time, On Track provides free fun special events for all the participants in the program including baseball games, hockey games, picnics, parties and much more!
