Volunteer Opportunity Details:

We have 2 groups of underprivileged children; Kindergarten through 2nd grade and 3rd grade through 5th grade desperately needing help with their homework. We need volunteers to help them with READING, MATH, ENGLISH and GRAMMAR from 3 p.m. - 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays.
One day a week, or more, of your time would be so rewarding.
You will always have at least 1 or 2 staff members with you at all times to guide you.

We have monthly training sessions, usually on a Friday afternoon from 4 - 6 p.m. which you may attend to assist you with discipline, classroom management etc.
We have to run a background check so would like a commitment of at least one or more semesters to the program.
We welcome retired teachers with open arms.
