Volunteer Opportunity Details:

This opportunity is designed for those who want to give back to their community but have limited time. We have many positions available during disasters, including front-line work directing callers to needed aid, resource assistance contacting local agencies for updates on the services they’re able to provide, and support work helping make sure the Call Center continues to run effectively. To be a 2-1-1 OC Disaster Response Volunteer, simply attend a one-hour orientation once a year. We provide you with a number to call in the event of a disaster for up-to-date information on volunteer activation.

The next Disaster Response Orientation will be held on October 24th, from10:00 am - 12:00 noon. Respond to this posting to request the location.

All Disaster Response Volunteers attend a one-hour orientation once annually. Orientations are held quarterly. If you have an interested group of 15 or more, we can schedule additional orientations and travel to your location.
Must possess verbal fluency in English.
