Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Provide One-to-One Services: Home visitation, meal delivery/preparation, transportation, linkages to community resources, and other support.
Implement Special Projects/Classes: Provide and/or develop classes or projects that increase health, fitness, crafts, music, social and cultural activities, literacy, driving safety and other classes to maintain independence and enhance quality of life.
Provide Education and Outreach: Provide information to individuals, care-givers, service providers, employers and other stakeholders.
Volunteer Recruitment & Management: Recruitment/management/placement of volunteers with organizations and/or programs that serve Seniors.
Conduct Health Services: Be trained in and conduct evidence-based classes in fall prevention and/or Chronic Disease Self Management/Healthy Living; Provide health related information and referral, advocacy, support and/or follow-up.
