Nazarene Well House

The mission of the Nazarene Well House is to provide temporary housing accommodations and moral and spiritual support when requested, to medical treatment recipients and their families while visiting the Rochester, MN area.

Description:
The NWH is a ministry similar to the Ronald McDonald House. We have a 12 bedroom facility located on the Zumbro River (formerly the Aldrich Memorial Day School building). Our building is open to all Mayo Clinic (and it's hospitals) patients and their families. We have 4 handicapped accessible bedrooms. Some of the bedrooms have private baths, some have shared baths. We have a large commons area which includes kitchen, dining, and living room areas. There are laundry facilities on every floor. There is a full time on-site caretaker couple who manage the facility.

History:
The NWH was started by the Rochester Nazarene Church. A separate non-profit was formed for the NWH and the building was purchased in October 2007. Following extensive renovations, the NWH opened its doors to guests in June of 2008.
