Description:
Heartland Hospice provides end of life care in facilities in the following counties and at home. We service within a 60 mile radius care to the following areas: Olmsted, Dodge, Mower, Steele, Rice, Waseca, Freeborn, fillmore, Houston, Winona, Wabasha, Goodhue.
We are currently seeking volunteers for Companion/Friendly Visitor-these volunteers work directly with our patients and complete the following duties: relief of primary caregiver,letter writing, homemaking chores, reading, etc. We also are seeking volunteers to serve as Vigil volunteers to be called on during the patients last hours to sit with them to relieve the family or the primary caregiver. We are looking for Administrative Volunteers also to work in the office.

Heartland is a subsidiary of HCR Manor Care who specializes in Geriatric care, Rehabilitative care, along with specialized Alzheimers programs.
