The Ronald McDonald House provides a home away from home and offers support to families with children 18 years and younger, receiving medical care. The House offers comfort, care & hope during very difficult times.

Description:
The House is conveniently located two blocks east of Mayo Clinic's Saint Marys Hospital and six blocks west of the main Mayo Clinic campus.

The Ronald McDonald House is a community living environment. Rooms are provided on a first-come-first-served basis (reservations are not accepted).

Volunteers make our House a home. Families deeply appreciate the warm, caring support volunteers provide. There are many ways to make a difference at the Rochester Ronald McDonald House.

History:
The Ronald McDonald House of Rochester began in 1980 as Northland Children's Services. From a 12 bedroom home with shared bath facilities, the Ronald McDonald House has grown to serve 42 families each evening. Amenities include shared kitchen & dining areas, family rooms, play rooms and laundry facilities.

Families stay at the House on a first-come-first serve basis. Each guest room can accommodate up to five people and includes a private bath, telephone with voice mail, queen bed and trundle bed or bunk beds.
