The Rochester Public Library is dedicated to providing the community with access to information, literature and ideas.

Description:
Rochester Public Library is a resource for people of all ages. The library offers a wide range of materials for our patron's to check out, including fiction and nonfiction books, large type books and talking books, CD's,videos and DVD's. We have a foreign language collection,a literacy collection and a variety of reference materials, as well as newspapers and magazines. Access to computers and the Internet is available on the premises. The library provides programing for all ages and a bookmobile service.

History:
The Public Library was established in 1895.The population at that time was 6,843. Today we have approximately 500,000 visitors to the Library per year and have an annual circulation of over 1,300,000 items
