United Way of Olmsted County is seeking volunteers for our 2007 Annual Campaign which supports our goals of nurturing children and youth, meeting basic human needs, promoting health and building skills for self-sufficiency. Short and long term opportunities are available. AGE OF VOLUNTEER: 18 and older. COMMITMENT: flexible, duration of campaign. DAY OF WEEK: flexible. TIME OF DAY: flexible. When I worked with CompuSwap all I could wonder is who will receive this computer? Will it be a new college student, a young child getting to go online for the first time or even an wise elder getting a chance to sign online for the first time. I will never know who the recepient of this refurbished computer will be, but the impact technology can be on one's life now in this era is immeasureable!
