Volunteer Opportunity Details:

The volunteer will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the promotion of Camp Companion’s adoptable animals. This individual will not be responsible for facilitating adoptions, but rather for promotion of adoptions.

It is important to understand that the cats and kittens that are for adoption through Camp Companion have been involved in our large-scale spay/neuter program. Camp Companion is not a shelter nor is it our intention to provide adoption for relinquished pets or found cats.

AGE OF VOLUNTEER: 18 and older. COMMITMENT: one year. DAY OF WEEK: flexible. TIME OF DAY: flexible. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: You will establish and foster relationships with organizations that will host an adoption event, create and distribute promotional materials on Camp Companion’s adoption program, staff adoption events with volunteers (Volunteer Coordinator or Executive Director will have volunteer information), and coordinate with Foster Coordinator and Executive Director on number of adoptable cats for any given event
