Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Misty arrived at RIDE via the Sheriff's Posse starving and unable to chew. Simple dental work, a bit of wormer and access to food have put her on the path to recovery. Wouldn't you like to help a horse in desperate need recover if it was as simple as providing food and shelter? Foster homes for horses of all ages, sizes and breeds are sought in SE Minnesota.

AGE OF VOLUNTEER: 18 and over. COMMITMENT: varies. DAY OF WEEK: 7 days per week. TIME OF DAY: flexible. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Foster sites must submit to a site inspection to determine care levels of site and providers. Safety of horse and volunteer is of highest importance; horses are matched to most appropriate foster provider. Volunteer application and waivers required along with foster contract for each horse placed.
