Water rises and tornadoes sweep through in a blink of an eye, often leaving individuals and their animals in dire straits. Law enforcement also at times need support to act quickly on behalf of an animal in need. RIDE of Rochester is looking for people willing to act quickly to help horses in emergency situations in SE Minnesota. AGE OF VOLUNTEER: 18 and older. COMMITMENT: varies. DAY OF WEEK/TIME OF DAY: As needed in crisis situation. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: If you have a truck and trailer and experience hauling horses (and other farm animals) RIDE wants to hear from you!
