Help bag and deliver decorated trees to businesses and homes throughout the community. A local moving company provides trucks and drivers. This is a great opportunity for large groups, small groups, or individuals.
For the 24rd year, the Festival of Trees - Celebration of Giving, will benefit Hiawatha Homes. In the Rochester area, Hiawatha provides residential services for more than 130 individuals with developmental disabilities and the sometimes - accompanying medical disabilities. Our programs provide environments for the people we support, to choose opportunities for individual growth, development and community inclusion.
AGE OF VOLUNTEER: 16 and older. COMMITMENT: one time. DAY OF WEEK/TIME OF DAY: Sunday November 29 from 3:45 to 9 p.m. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This opportunity requires physical involvement - standing, walking, carrying, lifting.  This opportunity is sponsored by: Hiawatha Homes, Inc.
