Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Volunteers still needed.Customer Advocates will assist current and potential customers in the completion of a variety of types of paperwork including intake demographics, health questionnaires, applications for Medical Assistance, and financial paperwork among others. Volunteers need to be 18 years old or older, able to read and write at a high school level or above, and have the ability to interact comfortably with a diverse customer base. Volunteer schedules would be Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday; 9:30 a.m. to noon and 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Work morning or afternoon shift or both. Some training provided. Make a difference in someones day by easing the frustration of paperwork to quickly get our customer to the behavioral health provider who can help.

AGE OF VOLUNTEER: 18 and older. COMMITMENT: 2.5 hours per shift once a week, minimum. DAY OF WEEK: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. TIME OF DAY: 9:30 a.m. to noon and 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT(S)/INFORMATION: Need to read and write at high school level or above. Some training provided.
