Volunteer Opportunity Details:
Many adults have talents and skills to share with girls but are unable to commit to a regular volunteer schedule. Many would love the opportunity to work with girls at events or on special projects that fit their schedule. If you are one of these adults, consider becoming a Girl Scout Special Interest Volunteer. As a Special Interest Volunteer you will be contacted as volunteer opportunities in your specified interest areas arise and you decide if the opportunity, time and location work for you. This is an excellent way to share your talents with girls and Girl Scout leaders while maintaining the flexibility you need. AGE OF VOLUNTEER: 18 and older. COMMITMENT: flexible. DAY OF WEEK: depends on opportunity. TIME OF DAY: varies. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: All Girls Scouts of Minnesota and Wisconsin River Valleys’ volunteers must become registered members(fee is $12, financial aid is available), pass a background check and complete the GSUSA (Girl Scouts of the USA)on-line orientation (also available as a self-study). This opportunity is sponsored by: Girl Scouts Of Minnesota And Wisconsin River Valleys
