Volunteer Opportunity Details:
Girl Scouts has after-school programs in five schools in Rochester where volunteers are needed to assist staff in leading girls in age appropriate activities. Consider sharing your time and talents with girls as a mentor/role model one time a week. Help build girls of courage, confidence, and character that make the world a better place. AGE OF VOLUNTEER: 18 and older. COMMITMENT: once a week. DAY OF WEEK: You choose - Monday, Wednesday, or Friday. TIME OF DAY: 2:30 -4:30 p.m. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: All Girls Scouts of Minnesota and Wisconsin River Valleys’ volunteers must become registered members (fee is $10, financial aid is available), pass a background check and complete the GSUSA (Girl Scouts of the USA)on-line orientation (self-study also available).
