Volunteer Opportunity Details:

We invite you to consider becoming a Heartland Hospice Volunteer. We are looking for individuals who are willing to spend some time to provide friendly visits with our clients. Visits include: reading, light conversation, listening to clients reminisce, or just holding the client's hand.
If you prefer to volunteer in the office we are in need of help with filing, faxing, etc. This is a great opportunity for a resume for up and coming youth 16 and older to get office experience.

AGE OF VOLUNTEER: 16 and older. COMMITMENT: flexible. DAY OF WEEK: flexible, any day. TIME OF DAY: Time is up to the patient and the volunteer they arrange it according to their schedule. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: It is required that the volunteer pass a Minnesota Background check, have a Tuberculosis Mantoux updated (Heartland will take care of that), and provide the best care we can for our patients.
