Every TV farm has a hired hand or jack of all trades who somehow seems part of the family. He/she cares for the animals, the barn, and provides a friendly howdy when guests arrive. At RIDE farms, it's no different. Our volunteers brush, feed, and exercise the horses, pick the stalls, stack the hay, and fix the fence. They also prepare for visitors by making signs, freshen up the pasture and woods, or spruce-up the barns. If you enjoy nature, animals, or always wanted to enjoy life on the farm, here is your chance! AGE OF VOLUNTEER: 12 and over, under 12 only with adult supervision. COMMITMENT: Flexible, set your own hours, prefer 2 hours monthly. DAY OF WEEK: flexible, every day. TIME OF DAY: Flexible, set your hours sun-up to sun-down.
