Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Be involved in a vital leadership position and help with the development of the Non-Profit organization: Rescue and Recreation Involving Deserving Equine (RIDE) of Rochester. Our vision is to develop and support inclusive programs that use outdoor activities and horses to create, empower and sustain individuals in healthy relationships with humans and horses. As a committee member, you will review programs and guide the development of financial activities to meet projected need of RIDE of Rochester. You will also help provide dollars for feed and veterinary care for our animals, and educational and craft supplies for our participants and guests. You must enjoy spending time with compassionate individuals and have the desire to leave a positive impact on animals and people.

AGE OF VOLUNTEER: 18 and older. COMMITMENT: Variable - Must be willing to work in flexible environment via phone, e-mail and work group meetings. DAY OF WEEK/TIME OF DAY: Flexible, to be determined by committee and needs of organization. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Knowledge of finance, accounting, banking, fundraisers or event planning required. Must be willing to think out of the box, and check your ego at the door. The only I in RIDE is Involved!
