Volunteer Opportunity Details:

The Children's Museum of Rochester is seeking to add a board member with Quickbooks Non-profit Edition experience. This director would attend monthly board meetings, provide updates to the board on financial matters, and perform accounting functions for the organization such as making deposits, provide donor receipts for donations, and preparing annual tax filings.

AGE OF VOLUNTEER: 21 and older. COMMITMENT: 5 to 10 hours per month. TIME OF DAY: open. DAY OF WEEK: open. OTHER REQUIREMENT(S): The volunteer should have accounting experience and be willing to learn the processes and policies of the Finance Committee.
