Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Voices for Children,Olmsted County Child Abuse Prevention Council,is seeking volunteers to serve on their council. Meetings are held monthly from September through June planning and implementing activities around child safety, strengthening families and prevention of child abuse and neglect. Volunteers help with setting up displays, sometimes being available to help with activities periodically during the year. April, Child Abuse Prevention month is the busiest month. Parents, grandparents, providers of services, business people, interested community members, from all races, cultures, and genders are welcome to apply.

AGE OF VOLUNTEER: 17 and older. COMMITMENT: Generally one to two hours per month with March and April 3 to 4 hours. DAY OF WEEK: First Monday of the month from September through June, except when there is a holiday then the second Monday.
