The Elder Network is looking for Respite Care Volunteers to provide companionship to an elderly person, while temporarily relieving the stresses felt by the caregivers. This allows the caregiver time to attend a support group, grocery shop, relax, run needed errands, or just take a break from the duties of care giving, with the ease of mind that their loved one is safe and taken care of. Call Holly at 285-5272 for more information about the program. AGE OF VOLUNTEER: 18 and older. COMMITMENT: flexible, about 2-4 hours a week. DAY OF WEEK/TIME OF DAY: flexible.
