Volunteer Opportunity Details:
The National Alliance on Mental Illness of Southeast Minnesota(NAMI) needs volunteers to answer the telephone for our Warmline. Warmline is a non-crisis support phone line for Mental Health Consumers. Warmline volunteers answer the warmline phone and provide a listening ear, support, and encouragement to callers. COMMITMENT: occasional. DAY OF WEEK: Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday. TIME OF DAY: 4-8pm. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Warmline volunteers must have a mental illness and take a four hour Warmline training. This opportunity is sponsored by: NAMI Southeast Minnesota
