Volunteers greet and assist customers, restock shelves, tidy displays, or ring up purchases. Experience using a cash register and credit card machine preferred; retail experience helpful. Volunteer will be

For the 24th year, the Festival of Trees Celebration of Giving will benefit Hiawatha Homes. In the Rochester area, Hiawatha provides residential services for more than 130 individuals with developmental disabilities and the sometimes-accompanying medical disabilities. Our programs provide environments for the people we support, from children to adults, to choose opportunities for individualized growth, development, and community inclusion.

The Festival of Trees has become a holiday event anticipated each year during Thanksgiving week by the entire Rochester community. We are grateful for the wonderful support the community gives our special event.

AGE OF VOLUNTEER: 16 years of age and older. COMMITMENT: flexible, one shift. DAY OF WEEK: Wednesday, November 25 through Sunday, November 29. TIME OF DAY: 10:30 a. m. to 7 p.m. There are three shifts, each shift is about two and one half hours in length. The shifts are as follows: from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., 1:15 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., and 4:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This opportunity requires physical involvement. Experience using a cash register and credit card machine preferred; retail experience helpful.
