Volunteer Opportunity Details:
Bring your brain to the Boys & Girls Club Teen Center! Provide academic support to help Middle School and High School students improve grades and stay on track in their studies. Volunteers are needed for Power Hour, one or more times a week from 4:30-5:30p, M-TH (during school year)to help teens complete homework and/or tutor them in specific subjects areas they find challenging. VOLUNTEER AGE: 21 and older. COMMITMENT: One school year, Fall and Spring semesters. DAYS OF WEEK: Monday through Friday. TIME OF DAY: 4:30-5:30p.m. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Volunteer must be HS graduate (or have GED w/ 1+ year(s) post secondary education).
