Our mission is to provide elderly, or those in difficult life circumstances aid to remain in their homes. We provide rides to medical appointments, do errands and shopping, visit the home bound, do respite care, and counsel on insurance problems or medicare . AGE OF VOLUNTEER: 18 and older. COMMITMENT: flexible. DAY OF WEEK/TIME OF DAY: flexible. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: We screen volunteers at the time they sign up, train and answer questions, and facilitate ongoing meetings.
