Volunteer Opportunity Details:
Splitting wood at Good Earth Village is an ongoing activity and we would love to have volunteers come and help with this project. We have several fireplaces at camp and buildings that are heated by wood. During the summer fire rings are used for worship experiences and for outdoor cooking. Our need for split wood is great and our staff does not always have the time to keep up with the task. We have a wood splitter to do the job or if you would like to get a good work out you could use an ax. This opportunity is perfect for individuals or a couple of people who would like to spend a few hours outside. AGE OF VOLUNTEER: 18 and older. COMMITMENT: flexible. DAY OF WEEK: flexible, any day. TIME OF DAY: flexible, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: We will train the volunteers on the usage of the log splitter. Volunteers should be able to lift logs on to the splitter. ![]() This opportunity is sponsored by: Good Earth Village
