Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Volunteers are needed to help tear down after the Festival of Trees event - Boutique, auction, cafe', stage, and other physical arrangements. Volunteers will be standing, walking, carrying, and lifting.

For the 24th year, the Festival of Trees Celebration of Giving will benefit Hiawatha Homes. In the Rochester area, Hiawatha provides residential services for the more than 130 individuals with developmental disabilities and the sometimes - accompanying medical disabilities. Our programs provide environments for our clients, from children to adults, to choose opportunities for individualized growth, development, and community inclusion.

The Festival of Trees has become a holiday event anticipated each year during Thanksgiving week by the entire Rochester community. We are grateful for the wonderful support the community gives our special event.

AGE OF VOLUNTEER: 16 and older. COMMITMENT: flexible. DAY OF WEEK: Sunday, November 29. TIME OF DAY: 3:45 - 8:00 p.m.
