Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Christmas Anonymous puts together food boxes for Senior Citizens and delivers them to their homes. These food boxes contain food for a holiday meal. Volunteers are needed to pack the food boxes and deliver them. Volunteers can pack and deliver or choose to participate in only one activity.

AGE OF VOLUNTEER: 16 or older unless accompanied by an adult. COMMITMENT: 2 hours or more. DAY OF WEEK: Saturday, December 5. TIME OF DAY: 9am-12pm and/or 1pm-4pm. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: No requirements needed for packing the food boxes. The ability to lift a food box is required for those delivering the prepared boxes.

Directions:

This activity is located in the Heintz Center of the University Center Rochester. Heintz Center is located across the street from the Federal Medical Center (prison). Please use the entrance on the East side of the building by the soccer fields - marked with a red "A" on the entrances. Food box packing is taking place in HA102 and HA119.
