We are seeking men and women who are interested in providing non-medical support to patients and their families. Volunteers are required to complete a three day intensive training and must attend all three days. Topics will include hospice philosophy and goals, understanding disease conditions, comfort and care measures, communication skills, spirituality, managing stress and boundaries, bereavement care and other topics. Materials and food are provided and the training is free.
