American Red Cross Midwest Blood Services
Blood is needed to treat patients in our community such as accident victims, transplant patients, premature babies, sickle cell anemia patients , and severe burn patients. There is no substitute for blood it can only come from healthy blood donors. Blood donors give someone the gift of life and another chance at life.
Description:
The Midwest Region is one of 36 Red Cross Blood regions across the United States. These regions provided nearly one half of the blood needed each year to treat patients across the nation. The Midwest Region of the American Red Cross supplies blood products to more than 80 hospitals in Nebraska, Iowa, Colorado, and Kansas and across the nation. The region relies on volunteer blood donors.
