Located in Tacoma's picturesque Point Defiance Park, the Zoo & Aquarium encompasses 29 acres with beautiful views of the Puget Sound and Mt. Rainier. Point Defiance Houses more than 100 species of animals with over 800 individuals.
History:
Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium was founded in 1905, and has grown steadily in the 100+ since its beginning.
