Our Mission is to inspire women of different ages in different ways. To provide an insight that heals and facilitates change in individual lives, through commitment, mission work, and power shining through from God. It is our hope that the free spirit, voice, and effectiveness of our organization will one day make an impact on those who seek our help and that we become the voice of those who have no voice.

Description:
This is an inspired ministry that motivates women to "Speak Life into their own life." We have hopes to assist women that are in shelters, on the streets, difficult relationships and women with health or social concerns. While also working with other surrounding organizations in the community.

DWOF is striving to have many women serving more through Mission Work. We are in need of women who would like to make this vision their own. Be encouraged to display the power in you throughout the whole community. Your ideas and suggestions are always welcome because we want to be lead into trying new things in this ministry to fulfill the vision.

History:
Other Organizations that we have done Mission Work for are: NCCASA (North Carolina Coalition against Sexual Assault), Durham Habitat for Humanity, AAAA (African Advocates Against Aids), Helen Wright Center for Women, & Speak Life Ministries. We have done a clothes fundraiser for Raleigh Rescue Mission. We Host a Christmas Gala at the end of every year! This year we have sponsored 36 Sheltered women in Raleigh! We also participated in the "Women's Empowerment Expo" in 2006 & 2007, as well as Unity in the Community/
