Board members are also expected to participate on at least one board committee six times per year (generally every other month), meeting times vary by committee (some in mornings, some in afternoons, some in evenings). Board members are able to select which committee they want to be on based on their interest or expertise.

Anyone who is interested and would like to observe a meeting before making a commitment to join is welcome to do so. Once a commitment is made, we provide an orientation for new board members with takes about 6 hours and is scheduled at the convenience of the new board member.
