Volunteers are needed to help assist staff with toy distributions, serving holiday dinners and other volunteer opportunties at the various Salvation Army loactions.

December 22nd - 11:00 am through 3:00 pm - Starlight for Children/STAR 100.7 Family Crisis Center Annual Christmas Party STAR 100.7, S. W. Randall and Family Toy will collect new gifts for children living in The Salvation Army’s downtown Pittsburgh Family Crisis Center. A party will be held at Dave and Buster’s on the Waterfront in Homestead to distribute toys, treat the families to a meal and fun in the game room. December 23rd- 11:00 am - Homewood Christmas Program and Dinner Homewood Worship and Service Center @ 8020 Frankstown Road A church program and dinner for participants. December 23rd - 6:00 pm through 7:00 pm - Westside Christmas Pageant, Westside Worship and Service Center @ 1821 Broadhead Fording Road Captains Celestin and Stefanie Nkounkou @ 412-921-9780

December 23rd - 12:30 pm - East Liberty Community Dinner East Liberty Worship and Service Center @ 6017 Broad Street Annual holiday dinner. Major Josephine Howard and Captain Faith Hasco @ 412-361-3614

December 25th 11:00 am through 2:00 pm - Annual Hotel Christmas Dinners Nearly 2,000 needy and lonely people will be served a first-rate holiday meal and have the opportunity to phone home to family, courtesy of Verizon Wireless. Participating hotels are: The Pittsburgh Hilton and Towers, The Westin Convention Center, The Omni William Penn, The Ramada Plaza Suites, Marriott City Centre; Sheraton Station Square Hotel, The Holiday Inn Select Wes Kerlin, Director of Social Service @ 412-394-4881
