Heartland Health Care and Hospice needs volunteers. Join the many volunteers who already know the rewards of volunteering in hospice care. You can change the life of a patient by showing love and compassion simply by visiting, listening, showing support- and in doing so, you just might change your life too. We need volunteers who are willing to visit and provide friendship and comfort to patients and their families. Not only will you be visiting with patients, but at times, you will be providing "care breaks" for family members when they need to leave for an afternoon or evening. Time and schedules are flexible.
