Root River Environmental Center -  1301 W. 6th St. between Memorial & Marquette. St. Bring your own gardening equipment, rakes, hedge trimmers wheelbarrows, manul trimmers.  Painting and installing rain gardens. Water and restrooms available at this site.  8am -12 pm  on Oct 27th.

Winter Coat Drive -   Clean coats are being collected at Root River Environmental Center 1301 W. 6th St.  8am -12 pm  on Oct 27th.

Clayton Park Flag football Rodeo:  11 am to 1 pm. Oct 27th.  Directions: at 6th & Memorial, head west to Howland Av ( accross from Jefferson Lighthouse School). Turn left on Howland go to botton of hill.
