Lead & Assistant Facilitators For Student Workshops
RSS XML FeedBackground Active Jul 31, 2008 to Aug 22, 2008

A team of two lead  facilitators are needed for each workshop. Facilitators lead the games & activities and teach the 5 peace tools. (Assistant facilitators are present to assist the facilitators with all of the activities.) The basic curriculum is the same for each workshop, however, there are a variety of.of things we do.

Assistant facilitators give support and assist the lead facilitators where needed with workshops, boosters and/or small break-out groups. Two to three assistants are needed at each workshop to lead small group break-out sessions, as well as help redirect the students to keep the day on schedule.

Restrictions:         Facilitator training is necessary. There will be a training workshop on August 21 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. in room 201 at UW-Parkside, Tallent Hall, 900 Wood Road, Kenosha for the upcoming 2008-2009 school year.

  • Anyone interested in participating as a facilitator is encouraged to attend.
