In order for nonprofit organizations to function appropriately, they need a fully functioning, accountable and engaged board of trustees.  The board is comprised of dedicated and caring volunteers who give their time, energy and talents so that the organization has the guidance, resources and management it needs to successfully serve its clients and meets the needs in the community.

Board service is a fun, interesting and rewarding experience.  Volunteer board members gain knowledge about the organization and the services it provides, develop new skills, work with other volunteers from all sectors of the community and know that they are truly making a difference in the lives touched by their organization.
