American Cultural Exchange Service ACES
ACES is an American non-profit organization dedicated to promoting global understanding through educational and cultural exchange experiences.
Description:
ACES is designated by the U.S. Department of State to administer this program. High school student participants from around the world experience American society and culture through total immersion, giving them the opportunity to gain a true and meaningful understanding of American society. Students live with a host family and attend local high school. Students also share their own cultures with their American host families, classmates and others. The program has both a semester and an academic year option.
History:
Established in 1995, ACES offers a variety of exchange programs to meet the specific needs of its participants.
